Following the release of Ropesight on Udemy.com, the Central Council of Church Bell Ringers contacted me to discuss making a promotional video about bellringing. After several months of planning, filming took place in April 2023 over a period of one week.

First I traveled to Northern England and filmed at Skipton and Barbon. I then spent a day filming with the Kent Young Ringers at Aylesford and finished the project in West Sussex, filming in Horsham, East Grinstead, Itchingfield, and Shipley.

Vicki Chapman and Steph Pendlebury organised all the filming dates and the ringers involved, and I also had a huge amount of support from the local ringers. My partner in filmmaking, Edit Trunko, was also instrumental in the success of the film. Making this video was a wonderful experience, and I’m very grateful to have had the opportunity to visit new towers and make new friends in the ringing community.
